Privacy policy
Your records stay on your phone.

In short: Knaizen Health has no account and no cloud. Your health records are stored only on your phone, in an encrypted database. We never receive them. The app connects to the internet for three things only: checking for app updates, anonymous usage statistics that contain no health data (you can switch them off), and, only if you redeem a voucher, the voucher code with a random install id.
Who we are
Knaizen Health is made by Knaizen, an app studio of Khalil Labs (SMC-Private) Limited, a company registered in Pakistan ("we", "us"). Questions about privacy: support@knaizen.com.
What stays on your phone
Everything you put into the app stays on the device:
- medicines, reminders, doses taken or skipped, and refills;
- readings such as blood pressure, glucose, weight, SpO2 and temperature, and the target ranges you set;
- documents such as lab reports and prescriptions, and the text found in them for on-device search;
- data you allow the app to read from Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android);
- PDF visit packs and export files you create.
This data is kept in an encrypted SQLite database (SQLCipher) inside the app's private storage. The encryption key is held in your phone's secure keychain or keystore, and you can require Face ID, fingerprint or your passcode to open the app. Text recognition in documents runs on the phone. We do not have a copy of any of it, and we cannot recover it for you.
If your phone's own backup (iCloud Backup or Google backup) is switched on, it may include the app's files, in encrypted form, as it does for any app. That backup is handled by Apple or Google under your account and their privacy terms.
When you share a visit pack or an export file, it goes where you send it: that is under your control, not ours.

For a voucher we keep: the code, the install id, the platform, the time it was redeemed and when the year ends. We use this only to check the voucher is valid and used once, and to help you if you reinstall. Like any web server, ours briefly records the network (IP) address of each request for security and abuse prevention; these logs are deleted within 14 days and are not linked to the voucher record.
Payments
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card or bank details. Apple or Google tell the app whether a subscription is active; we do not receive your name or email address from them.
What we do not do
- No account, registration or sign-in.
- No advertising, no ad networks, no selling or sharing of data.
- No uploading of your records, readings or documents.
- No tracking across other apps or websites.
Our websites
knaizen.com and health.knaizen.com set no cookies and use no analytics or trackers. Our web server keeps standard access logs (including IP addresses) for up to 14 days for security.
Your choices and rights
- See, export and delete: you can view, export and delete your records in the app at any time, free, whether or not you subscribe. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on the phone.
- Usage statistics: switch them off in the app's Settings.
- Voucher records: email us with the code and we will delete the record of its redemption. The year you already received keeps working on your phone.
Because we do not hold your health records, we cannot access, correct or delete them for you: you hold them.
Children
Knaizen Health is meant for adults managing their own or their family's health. It is not directed at children under 13.
Not a medical device
Knaizen Health stores and charts information. It does not diagnose, interpret results or give medical advice.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects what leaves your phone, we will also say so in the app before it takes effect.
